Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease in which the body cannot make proper use of glucose and leads to a condition of high blood sugar(hyperglycemia). There is another condition called glycosuria that is the excess amount of glucose in urine due to high levels of glucose in blood. The main cause of diabetes is the intake of excess amounts of food that is hard to digest - including fried foods, junk food, cream etc. Heredity, lack of regular exercise, mental stress and strain, excessive sleep, overeating, excessive intake of sugar also result in Diabetes.

Check these symptoms

Hunger & Lethargy: if your body does not produce enough insulin to convert glucose into energy, the body starts to fight the amount of insulin created and it leads to fatigue due to lack of energy. It results in an increased appetite.

Urination and Thirst: The average urination rate of a diabetic patient is higher than the normal because the body absorbs glucose when it passes through kidneys. Kidneys are not able to bring it back and it leads to creating more urine and even if the water intake is low.

Itchy Skin and Dry Mouth: Due to lack of sufficient water in the body, itchy skin and dry mouth problems occur.
