Ayurveda is known as the Science of Life and is the oldest healing science in the world. Ayurveda knowledge originated 5,000 years ago in India and it is a significant part of Indian tradition. Ancient ‘Vedas’ described Ayurveda treatment methodologies in India.
Ayurveda is the healing technique through natural herbs, diet, lifestyle and thinking in human life. Ayurveda helps to create a balance between the body, mind and soul, and change the lifestyle to maintain the balance in the entire life. Modern lifestyle causes a lot of stress, strain and mental depression in one’s life that destroy this balance in life.
According to Ayurveda, body, mind and soul have to work together to maintain this balance. Three basic types of energies control the balance of our life- vata, pitta and kapha. In Ayurveda the causes of diseases is due to an excess or deficiency of vata, pitta or kapha. Ayurveda focuses on the balance of these energies, not diseases.
Ayurveda advises a healthy lifestyle which includes meditation and diet which focuses on keeping a person healthy. A life which is closer to nature is prescribed and that will keep away from all diseases and issues.
